Terms of Use
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use define the terms of access and use of Groopin, a mobile application that facilitates the connection of people wishing to organize or participate in non-profit group activities. Groopin acts solely as a technical intermediary and is not involved in organizing the proposed activities.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
By registering or using the application, the user unreservedly accepts all of these Terms. Any user who disagrees with these terms must refrain from using Groopin's services.
3. Registration Requirements
To register on Groopin, the user must: • Be 18 years old or more; • Provide a valid email address; • Provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. Groopin does not systematically verify the identity or criminal record of its members. Each user is responsible for ensuring the reliability and compatibility of people they meet.
4. Service Operation
Users can: • Create, publish, search for, and join activities; • Only organize unpaid, collaborative activities intended for leisure or social exchange. Groopin does not intervene in the creation, organization, or supervision of the proposed activities.
5. User Obligations
Each member agrees to: • Comply with Moroccan law, these Terms, and other members of the community; • Refrain from posting any violent, discriminatory, hateful, false, defamatory, or sexually explicit content; • Not use the platform for commercial recruitment, political or religious proselytism, or unauthorized advertising; • Report any inappropriate behavior or violations of Groopin’s values. Any attempt at automated data scraping, creation of fake accounts, or unauthorized commercial use of the platform will result in immediate account deletion and may lead to legal action.
6. Liability
• Groopin does not guarantee the reliability of users, nor the quality or legality of the activities proposed; • Each user is solely responsible for their participation and interactions; • Groopin declines all responsibility in case of incidents occurring during meetings organized via the platform; • In cases of force majeure, maintenance, cyberattacks, or third-party failures, Groopin cannot be held liable for temporary unavailability.
7. Suspension and Termination
Groopin reserves the right to: • Suspend or delete any user account in case of violation of the Terms, abusive behavior, or repeated complaints; • Temporarily restrict access to the platform for maintenance or updates.
8. Personal Data
• Groopin collects and processes personal data in accordance with Moroccan law No. 09-08 under the supervision of the CNDP; • Each user has the right to access, correct, and delete their data by sending a request to: contact@groopin.io; • No personal data will be sold or shared with third parties without prior consent.
9. Intellectual Property
All elements of the application (logos, content, source code, design) are the exclusive property of Groopin’s publisher. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal proceedings.
10. Modifications
Groopin reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any changes via notification in the app or by email. Continued use of Groopin implies acceptance of the new conditions.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute regarding their interpretation or execution falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Groopin’s registered office.
12. Protection of Minors and Combating Exploitation
Groopin enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding any content, behavior, or activity involving the exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of minors. Any attempt to post, solicit, or exchange content involving minors in an inappropriate manner will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Users are expected to comply with this rule and report any suspicious behavior immediately via the built-in reporting tool or by email at: contact@groopin.io
